Here, the day starts with a simple breakfast before you explore the Pute River by boat, passing towering limestone cliffs and tranquil reflections of nature. From Rammang-Rammang, the journey continues with a long overland drive to Tana Toraja (approximately 7 hours 15 minutes), traversing ever-changing landscapes from coastal areas to mountainous terrain. Along the way, you will stop in Parepare for lunch at a seaside restaurant, enjoying a peaceful break with ocean views. The journey continues with a coffee break in Bambapuang, a scenic viewpoint where valleys and mist meet, before heading onward to the cultural heart of Tana Toraja (approximately 2 hours 45 minutes).
Upon arrival in Toraja, you will check in to your hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest, bringing your first day to a close after a full journey that flows seamlessly from rivers and karst landscapes to the highlands, forming a meaningful and immersive travel experience.
