2) Data Collection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
Sejiva’s website offers multiple ways for users to contact, communicate, and submit inquiries or requests. Users may provide personal information, including their first and last name, phone number, email address, preferences and interests, as well as other general or specific information. Only the information provided by the user will be collected.
3) Processing of Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
The personal information we collect is securely stored and used to contact you—whether it’s to respond to your requests, send newsletters, or provide other related information. This information will be securely stored in our Google Drive files, accessible only by Sejiva employees who have signed a confidentiality agreement.
As a tour operator, Sejiva works with third parties to arrange services like transportation and accommodation. The necessary data will be shared with them to provide these services (e.g., phone number, full name, passport number, gender, origin, etc.). This information will only be stored, processed, and shared with third parties when a reservation is made through Sejiva.
Once your reservation is processed, we typically store data only for the duration of your trip. Sensitive information (like passport copies and bank details) is deleted no later than one week after the trip ends. Email addresses and contact information will be retained in our database for future correspondence.
If you subscribe to Sejiva’s website (Newsletter), your email address, IP address, and subscription date/time will be recorded to prevent misuse. This information will be used solely for sending updates and newsletters and will be added to our internal database. We do not share this information with third parties
To ensure email security, we use a “double opt-in” system, requiring a confirmation email after you subscribe.
If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletters, simply send an email to [email protected], and we will promptly delete your information.
4) Forwarding your Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
We only share our clients’ data to fulfill agreements or contracts, such as reservations and payments.
Once a reservation is processed, we share the necessary data with trusted suppliers/partners like local agents, accommodations, transportation, airlines, and tour guides.
For newsletters, we only share clients’ data with service providers related to the newsletter service.
We may also use payment gateways (e.g., Xendit.co), in which case we need to share your data to fulfill our service agreements.
Data will only be shared with government and state institutions in accordance with applicable laws. In other cases, we do not provide personal data to third parties and ensure its security within Sejiva’s system.
5) Use of third party services or content
To enhance user experience, Sejiva uses third-party services to offer its products to potential clients. For example, when playing a video embedded from YouTube, the user’s IP address is automatically shared with YouTube to enable content playback.
Sejiva prioritizes third-party services that require only an IP address to display content. However, we cannot prevent them from storing the IP address. If we become aware of any changes regarding data usage, we will inform our clients and website users.
6) Additional Information
Apart from the points mentioned above, we do not collect any additional personal information.Personal identification is not merged with anonymous data gathered on www.sejiva.id.
Clients and users have the right to request access to all their personal data and may modify, restrict, or delete the collected information. Exception: Data retention may be required due to legal or business obligations. In such cases, the data will be securely stored and locked in our files. If there are no legal or governmental restrictions, personal data may be deleted upon request.
