what world are we passing on to our children?

Earth’s in trouble. We’re running low on resources, biodiversity is dropping, and climate change is speeding up. How do we inspire a new way of thinking so future generations inherit a thriving planet? We need to change the current trajectory of global development, which is leading us toward social and ecological disasters. This is the core reason Sejiva exists—to be a platform that fosters change in ecotourism and regenerative travel, where travelers are actively part of the solution for a better future.

together we can do so much

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much– Helen Keller

We believe that significant change requires collaboration. Therefore, Sejiva was established to realize this vision through three socio-eco enterprises: Wise Steps Travel, Sebumi, and Traval.co. These three organizations combine their extensive experience and networks in the field of sustainable travel (including ecotourism and regenerative travel). This enables Sejiva to create integrated solutions with various stakeholders encompassed within Indonesia’s tourism ecosystem.

from sustainable to regenerative

Our planet needs more than just doing less harm; we also need to actively help. #TravelPositive is a group effort by everyone in tourism to go beyond sustainable travel, ecotourism, and regenerative travel, becoming truly generative. We’re focusing on helping local people by giving them new skills, protecting local cultures by supporting cultural projects, and healing nature by supporting conservation efforts like planting corals and replanting forests.

together, we build our future

How can we all contribute to a future where humanity can thrive and ecosystems are well-maintained? The #TravelPositive movement helps you and other travelers contribute to sustainability through ecotourism, and regenerative travel, creating new solutions to build a better future together. Let’s make #TravelPositive a new lifestyle in responsible travel for the sake of future generations.
