This Astronomy Experience invites you to explore the natural beauty of Sukabumi while reconnecting with the universe through stargazing and solar observation. Over two days, you will leave behind the bustle of the city and journey into a calm mountain setting, where the night sky opens wide, clear and free from light pollution.
On the first day, the journey begins with nature-based activities such as a flying fox ride and an exploration of the Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, before transitioning into the main experience: an astronomy session and night sky observation guided by an Astronomy Storyteller. You will learn to identify stars, the Milky Way, and other celestial phenomena in a reflective and immersive atmosphere.
The second day offers a hiking experience through rolling hills, followed by a solar observation session, providing a different perspective on the relationship between Earth and the cosmos. More than just a trip, this journey is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the universe, offering a new way of seeing the sky above us and our place within it.

Arrival in Sukabumi: Gateway to the Night Sky
The journey begins from the meeting point in Jakarta to Sukabumi (approximately 2.5 hours), leading you into a calm mountain setting far from the city’s light pollution. Upon arrival at the accommodation, you will be welcomed with a welcome drink and an opening session with an Astronomy Storyteller, who will introduce the evening’s journey through stories of the sky and the universe.
The atmosphere then shifts into a more playful experience with a flying fox activity, followed by lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, you will explore the Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in Indonesia, stretching above a lush green forest.
As night approaches, you will have time to rest and prepare for the main highlight of the journey: stargazing. Under Sukabumi’s dark sky, you will take part in a guided night sky observation, from the Milky Way to the possibility of meteor showers, enhanced by astronomy storytelling to deepen your understanding of the cosmos.
The first day concludes with a magical night sky experience and a restful evening immersed in nature.

The second day begins with free time at your accommodation in Sukabumi, where you can enjoy breakfast surrounded by the calm mountain atmosphere and fresh air. Afterward, you will take part in a light hike through the surrounding hills, following natural trails while taking in lush green panoramas that offer a renewed perspective on the relationship between humans and the universe.
After returning and taking a short rest, the journey continues with a unique solar observation experience. Using specialized instruments, you will observe the sun while gaining deeper insight into daytime astronomical phenomena. This is followed by a farewell lunch at the accommodation before check-out.
The journey then continues back to the meeting point in Jakarta (approximately 1.5–3 hours by road). With this, your Astronomy Experience comes to a close, leaving you with lasting impressions of the night sky, starlight, and the wonders of nature that connect the Earth and the cosmos in one meaningful journey.
