This Bhutan pilgrimage is designed to provide a deep spiritual experience, following the footsteps of Padmasambhava and Pema Lingpa through some of the country’s most significant sacred sites. Throughout the journey, participants will be guided by Geshe Tenzin Zopa to understand the teachings of Vajrayana and the preliminary tantric practices (Ngondro), opening an opportunity to delve into the ancient legacy and wonders of the tantric masters.

Each day offers a combination of prayers, meditation, visits to sacred temples and monasteries, and moments of personal reflection in holy valleys, mountains, and caves. This moment provides space to get to know your fellow participants, share your pilgrimage intentions, and prepare your heart and mind for the profound experience that begins tomorrow. Enjoy the tranquil evening at the hotel, absorbing Paro's gentle energy, before concluding the first day with prayer and personal reflection.

This morning, we depart for Gangtey Valley, renowned for its stunning natural scenery and strong spiritual energy. The journey through Bhutan's green hills and traditional villages provides time to reflect on your pilgrimage intentions and quiet your mind.

Upon arrival in Gangtey, we will visit the Divine Madman Temple (Chhimi Lhakhang), a sacred site that radiates the magic and wisdom of Padmasambhava's teachings. Here, you can immerse yourself in the rituals, prayers, and spiritual energy flowing from this place, while learning about the life and devotion of a holy figure known for his courageous and transformative teachings.

The afternoon allows for personal reflection or sharing experiences with fellow pilgrims before resting and preparing for the next day's spiritual journey.

This morning, we will visit Gangtey Monastery, the spiritual heart of the valley, renowned for its Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. Here, you can observe the monks' prayers and rituals, absorb the energy of the sacred site, and learn about the Vajrayana teachings and practices that have been passed down for centuries.

Towards the afternoon, enjoy a light trek on the Gangtey Nature Trail, immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding valley and hills. The serene atmosphere and tranquil nature provide time for personal reflection, light meditation, and aligning yourself with the spiritual energy of Bhutan. This journey concludes the day with a sense of peace and readiness for the more profound pilgrimage experiences tomorrow.

Afterward, we will embark on a journey to Bumthang, a valley known as the cultural and spiritual heart of Bhutan. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful views of the hills and traditional villages, calming the mind.

Upon arrival in Bumthang, visit the Chumey Weaving Center, where you can witness the distinctive, inherited craftsmanship of traditional Bhutanese weaving. Beyond learning about the techniques and patterns, you can also absorb the philosophy and daily life of the local community, which is deeply rooted in tradition and spirituality.

Good morning! Day 5 – Pilgrimage to Holy Lhakhangs in Bumthang

This morning, we begin our spiritual journey with a visit to Kurje Lhakhang, one of the most important holy sites in Bhutan associated with Padmasambhava, where the spiritual energy is palpable and calming.

Next, we visit Jambay Lhakhang, a historic temple rich with local legends and rituals. Following that, we take a light trek to Padmasambhava Lhakhang, traversing a peaceful path while soaking in the tranquility of nature and the surrounding spiritual energy.

Today's journey concludes with a visit to Tamzhing Lhakhang, a captivating cultural and spiritual center, where you can learn about Buddhist teachings, traditional rituals, and Bhutan's profound spiritual history. This morning marks the end of our pilgrimage journey. After breakfast and preparations, we will heading to Paro airport. Throughout the journey, take time to reflect on the spiritual experiences gained during the pilgrimage, the energy of the sacred sites visited, and the inner connection formed with your fellow pilgrims.
